From August through to November the Southern Right Whale makes its grand entrance into False Bay providing holidaymakers and locals with the chance to view these quite magnificent creatures from the coastline itself.
One can also easily reach several must-see attractions such as the well known wine regions of Stellenbosch, Constantia and Franschhoek. Approx one hours drive takes you to the Table Mountain National Park to visit the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point. Table Mountain (a must) with its cable car is a 45 minute drive away and the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront is an absolute perfect spot with its shops, restaurants and entertainment.
Gordons Bay is only 25 minutes from Cape Town International Airport and is perfectly situated to explore the surrounding mountains and breathtaking scenery described by Sir France Drake as “The Fairest Cape of them all”.
Location, location, location! The Gordons Bay beaches, restaurants and bars are only a few minutes walk away. The seaside village also has two working harbours, home to a number of fine yachts and sailing craft.
For golfing enthusiasts, the Helderberg region provides a number of world class courses whilst the Guest House is able to loan out a range of quality golfing equipment to their guests by request.
After a busy day sightseeing (or just relaxing in the sun) our guest braai (bbq) nights are great fun and very popular.
